White Salmon 2026 Bond & Levy Materials

The White Salmon Valley School District in the Columbia River Gorge spent years gathering community input and researching the best path forward before planning a bond measure. In spring 2025, ESD Communications stepped in to support the effort with social media strategy, strategic communications planning, graphic design, video production, and storytelling; helping residents understand why the timing was critical: $34 million in SCAP funding was on the table if the bond passed, and the district's capital levy was set to expire. In February 2026, both measures — a capital bond and an EP&O levy — passed with over 65% approval.

We produced various informational materials for the district to help get the word out, including handouts in both English and Spanish, a 4-page mailer sent to the community, posters, and fence banners.
