Paschal Sherman Indian School ClimeTime Video
ClimeTime invited ESD 112’s Communications team to help tell the story of Paschal Sherman Indian School's Outdoor Education program. We pulled on our boots, rolled up our pant legs, and joined teachers and students in Omak Creek, as they worked together to identify macroinvertebrates and measure stream velocity. Along the way, we interviewed them about the importance of providing a Native perspective to the school's science curriculum and the spiritual nourishment that comes from spending time in nature, enhancing the school day, and how the school strives to implement traditional ideas and teaching methodologies in its approach to education.
