A Creative Agency Model–built with Care for Education
The ESD 112 Communications department is the largest school communications program among Washington’s nine educational service districts, offering a wide range of services tailored to each partner’s needs. Our 14-member team brings a strong mix of experience and skills in school communications, making us a unique resource in the state. When you work with us, you’re partnering with a supportive, collaborative team that understands education, building public trust, and is committed to helping you connect with your community.
Our Communications and Public Engagement department is structured similarly to a creative agency, but...
Unlike private, for-profit firms, we are a public education service organization committed to supporting school districts and educational programs only.
Who is Educational Service District (ESD) 112?

Our Mission
ESD 112 equalizes educational opportunities for learning communities through innovative partnerships, responsive leadership, and exceptional programs.
Serving 30 public school districts, two state-operated districts, and more than 25 private school districts across six Southwest Washington counties, ESD 112 supports learning communities through more than 300 programs. These services span early learning and special education, as well as operational and technical support, including transportation, construction management, and insurance cooperatives.
Many of our programs, including Communications, work with schools outside our southwest Washington region, further expanding access to quality communications and creative services beyond our borders.

ESD 112 COMMUNICATIONS CONSORTIUM
School districts from Southwest Washington and across the state choose to participate in our Consortium for communications coordination, so they don’t have to go it alone when it comes to big issues like school funding, labor disputes, cell phone bans, Title IX, social media best practices, and other emerging hot topics. Areas of focus are discussed and materials produced through collaborative communication and messaging development. Each year we produce a dozen or more communications talking points, templates, and other shared materials for our Consortium members to utilize and customize. We stay on top of the hot-button issues and alert our district partners, so they can concentrate on educating students.
